What you will do

• Execute end-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation.
• Process payroll tax, PAYG, and month-end reporting, including superannuation and workers compensation calculations.
• Support year-end payroll processing and statutory reporting for the ATO.
• Manage internal payroll enquiries and provide high-quality customer service to employees and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and documentation.

Requirements

• Applied knowledge of payroll legislation, agreements, and company policy.
• Proficiency with payroll systems, ideally ADP and Kronos.
• Advanced skills in Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to process complex calculations and statutory payments accurately.
• Strong business acumen regarding taxes, awards, and statutory requirements to reduce risk.
• Experience collaborating with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders like banks and the ATO.
