TL;DR

Location: Remote within the USA, Colombia, or Brazil; requires willingness to travel for on-site tasks.

What you will do

  • Support internally developed software and troubleshoot customer system issues for Navis products.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of support cases, collaborating with Development, QA, and Product teams.
  • Verify and isolate application defects using customer datasets and lab environments.
  • Perform on-site software/hardware upgrades and test third-party system integrations at customer facilities.
  • Conduct account management activities, including regular case reviews and conference calls.
  • Participate in a global 24x7 on-call roster to handle critical issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of N4 TOS product support experience, preferably in shipping or logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, Oracle, networking, and familiarity with Java/J2EE.
  • Hands-on experience with JAVA, XML, and client-server applications.
  • English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be based in the USA, Colombia, or Brazil; flexibility to work shifts and travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience with automation terminals.
  • Coding skills in Core Java/Groovy.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Hyperic.
