What you will do

• Develop backend services using Java and implement Flink jobs for data stream processing.
• Manage and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild.
• Automate resource provisioning using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Implement platform-wide monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Grafana, and InfluxDB.
• Continuously improve platform tooling and documentation to enhance developer experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in coding, specifically with Java or TypeScript.
• Proven experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD).
• Proven experience managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong desire to learn new software skills and experiment with emerging technologies.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS data tools: Redshift, Glue, Athena, or Kinesis.
• Understanding of Kafka cluster optimization.
• Experience with performance, integration, and end-to-end testing.
