What you will do

• Develop secure, scalable, high-performance backend software for lottery systems.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring ecosystem.
• Work with relational databases like DB2 or PostgreSQL, SQL, and Hibernate.
• Document software, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate in agile team meetings, design discussions, and with customers.
• Mentor coworkers and participate in project management.

Requirements

• English communication skills for effective collaboration in distributed international team.
• Master/Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent + 5+ years backend experience in scalable applications.
• Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
• RESTful APIs design and implementation.
• Relational databases (DB2/PostgreSQL), SQL, Hibernate, data structures.
• Design patterns, microservices, scalable system design, debugging, testing (JUnit, Mockito), secure coding (OWASP).

Nice to have

• Cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Python, Unix shell scripting, JIRA.
• Data encryption, authentication, logging/monitoring (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus).
