What you will do

• Establish operational infrastructure including banking relationships, treasury, and financial processes for regulated payments
• Develop workflows, policies, and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance and excellence
• Oversee daily operations like transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting
• Manage financial performance with P&L responsibility and budget oversight
• Collaborate with regulators, product, and engineering teams on compliance and solutions
• Build KPIs, risk frameworks, and controls for operational performance

Requirements

• 5+ years in financial operations, preferably payments, money transmission, banking, or fintech
• Proven track record building and scaling ops teams in regulated environments
• Experience with treasury management, cash flow, and financial controls
• Understanding of money transmission licensing and compliance
• Strong leadership to build high-performing teams
• Excellent project management for launching new business lines
• Strong communication for regulators, partners, clients
• Basic blockchain and digital assets knowledge

Nice to have

• Direct money transmitter licensing experience
• Background in payment processing or digital wallets
• High-growth fintech or financial institution experience
• Knowledge of stablecoins in payments
• MBA, CPA, or relevant certifications
