What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for slot games, including game logic and supporting systems.
• Solve complex domain-specific tasks in game mechanics and calculations.
• Maintain and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Improve calculators and core game-supporting services.
• Take ownership of backend solutions from design to production.
• Participate in architectural discussions, collaborate with engineers, troubleshoot production issues, and share expertise.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial backend development experience, primarily with Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
• Strong algorithmic thinking and ability to solve non-trivial problems.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience with complex business/domain logic, application deployment, and production environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) or openness to using them.
• Confident Git/GitLab use, clean code with good test coverage, high ownership, strong communication.
• Russian — Advanced, English — Intermediate or higher

Nice to have

• Willingness to learn other languages (e.g., Golang).
• Good understanding of algorithms and computational complexity.
