What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for creator tools and conversion tracking systems.
• Work across a polyglot stack comprising Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, Flask, and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Lead the active migration of company infrastructure from Heroku to Render.
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend engineers to ship customer-facing features end-to-end.
• Integrate modern AI coding tools, specifically Cursor, into the daily development workflow.

Requirements

• Must reside in Texas, USA
• Strong production-level expertise in either Python/Django or Ruby on Rails.
• Solid fundamentals in OOP, relational databases (Postgres), REST API design, and caching (Redis).
• Ability to learn and adapt to unfamiliar frameworks (Flask, Node/TypeScript) quickly.
• Experience working with Docker-based local and production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with PaaS platforms like Render or Heroku.
• DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines and AWS (S3, Lambda).
• Frontend literacy sufficient to integrate with React/TypeScript clients.
• Experience with ad-tech, creator platforms, payments (Stripe, PayPal), or web scraping.
