What you will do

• Develop thermal cooling strategies for next-generation, high-performance switching products.
• Perform complete thermal analysis and design independently using Icepak.
• Provide thermal analysis support for hardware and product management teams through spreadsheet calculations and simulations.
• Conduct engineering experimental tests to verify designs and correlate them with computational results.
• Collaborate with Electrical design and hardware validation teams to ensure overall system requirements are met.
• Shape the thermal strategy for future product portfolios.

Requirements

• MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in thermal design and analysis using Icepak, FloTHERM, or SmartCFD.
• Experience with high power (>800W) SoC liquid cooling thermal models and system-level analysis.
• Expertise in cold plate liquid cooling design, open/closed loop systems, and rack-level CDU analysis.
• Proficiency in numerical modeling based on CFD and FEA, including convergence and meshing.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer modes and electronic cooling challenges within data center environments.

Nice to have

• Experience using ProEngineer (PTC Creo).
