What you will do

• Guide engineering efforts across blended teams including internal engineers, external consultants, and vendors to foster innovation and collaboration.
• Own architectural vision for enterprise AI platforms from AI agents to intuitive UIs.
• Manage full lifecycle of technology partnerships including build-vs-buy analyses, RFPs, contracts, and greenfield evaluations.
• Ensure platforms are scalable, reliable, secure, and agile using partner teams like IT Support and NOC.
• Champion agent-driven development, continuous deployment, and test-first practices.
• Partner with internal teams to architect platforms, integrate tools, and deliver agent deployment sandboxes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in technical leadership or management
• Proven experience leading hybrid software teams and managing external vendors.
• Experience leading greenfield evaluations and proof-of-concept projects influencing roadmaps.
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Expertise in object-oriented languages like Python, Java, or C#; extensive cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Track record influencing technology strategy, commercial aspects (RFPs, contracts), and mentoring engineers.
