Senior UI Engineer

What you will do

• Build modern interactive websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and UI frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
• Provide front-end technical guidance, feasibility assessments, and estimates to UX, PM, and other teams
• Collaborate with senior engineers, design, QA, and cross-geographic teams to develop, test, and troubleshoot data-driven web applications with API integrations
• Lead large complex projects, mentor junior team members, and provide post-launch support and enhancements
• Apply agile methodologies, standard development practices, and ensure W3C compliance in rapid prototyping environments

Requirements

• 5+ years with TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, or Web Components)
• Must have experience with Motion Design
• Modern CSS proficiency (Tailwind, custom properties, container queries — no preprocessor dependency)
• Experience with token-based design systems using Figma
• Proven ability to build WCAG 2.2–compliant interfaces
• Experience integrating CMS platforms or consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with build tools (Vite, Playwright, Vitest), CI/CD pipelines, and Core Web Vitals optimization
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Gemini, Copilot)
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent; professional license required if holding Engineering degree (verify at copnia.gov.co)

• Contentstack experience
