TL;DR

International Retail Partnerships & Trade Marketing Lead (Retail): Developing and executing market entry strategies for sports nutrition across Europe with an accent on translating the German go-to-market playbook into local dynamics. Location: Remote in Netherlands, UK, or Germany; hybrid option in Hamburg. Requires flexibility to travel within Europe and visit the Hamburg HQ 1-2x per month.

What you will do

  • Define market entry strategies for Switzerland, France, Italy, and the UK, adapting the German playbook to local dynamics.
  • Curate high-impact product portfolios (A-assortment) balancing hero SKUs with local retailer needs.
  • Set pricing, promotion depth, and trade investment guardrails to protect brand equity.
  • Develop scalable, channel-specific in-store activation playbooks and toolkits for sales teams.
  • Enable sales teams by creating actionable sell-in decks and assortment rationales.
  • Track and drive performance using KPIs such as distribution, sell-through, and promo ROI.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in key account management, category management, and trade marketing, ideally within FMCG or sports nutrition.
  • Strong KAM expertise, including JBP negotiations and end-to-end trade term management.
  • Mastery of category management tools such as range reviews, planograms, and shopper insights.
  • Proven experience working across multiple European markets.
  • Fluent in English; German or another European language is a strong plus.
  • Must be based in the Netherlands, UK, or Germany.
