What you will do
- Manage all assurance activities for assigned projects, including the delivery of Material Review Boards and Non-Conformance Review Panels.
- Create, review, and maintain project quality plans and ensure all relevant project metrics are provided.
- Support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits and provide guidance to project teams on the usage of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Represent product assurance in design reviews and act as a CofC release signatory for related portfolios.
- Carry out independent assurance assessments against project plans, safety aspect letter adherence, and internal audits.
- Proactively address customer quality issues within cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Audit experience, preferably as a Lead Auditor (ISO9001/AS9100).
- Experience with responsibility for Material Review Boards and Non-Conformance Review/Disposition.
- Eligibility to obtain Canadian government NATO Security Clearance and work on Canadian Controlled Goods projects.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of IFS ERP.
- Internal Auditor qualification (Lead Auditor preferred).
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, AQAP, or Def Standards.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 / 620.
- Membership in a recognized chartered body such as ASQ or P.Eng.
