The Pokémon Company International manages the Pokémon brand outside of Asia, overseeing licensing, marketing, and entertainment properties.

What you will do

• Adapt videogame marketing materials, including press releases, websites, and social media copy, from English to Spanish.
• Translate, edit, and proofread video scripts, subtitles, patch notes, and LiveOps text for grammar, tone, and slang.
• Maintain linguistic consistency using product-specific glossaries and language style guides.
• Collaborate with Transcreation and Editing teams to ensure content meets cultural requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to align on terminology and brand style.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of professional experience in translation, editing, or transcreation.
• Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish and fluent English.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional expertise.
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MemoQ, FrameIO, or specialized subtitling software.
• Experience in the gaming industry or deep knowledge of the Pokémon brand.
• Knowledge of other FIGSL languages.
