What you will do

• Build and maintain payment solutions integrating with terminals and methods for card-present environments.
• Refactor legacy applications to improve maintainability and scalability.
• Take ownership of key payment solutions in the IPP domain.
• Collaborate with merchants, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences.
• Improve processes using automation, AI, and smart tooling.
• Make fast decisions, test ideas, and evolve the role as the team grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with JVM stack (Java 11+, Kotlin)
• Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, Git
• Fluent in English; permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands required
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Bonus: Payment industry knowledge (PCI DSS, EMV)
