What you will do

• Design, implement, and refine new machine learning and deep learning architectures by staying current with academic research.
• Build and monitor robust end-to-end data pipelines and training processes to ensure production scalability.
• Adapt and optimize foundational models for various client needs using hyperparameter tuning platforms.
• Develop AI-driven applications that translate research insights into real-world technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to transform complex business challenges into AI-powered products.
• Take full technical ownership of research projects and strategic decisions influencing product evolution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring impactful ML models.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep, hands-on experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks.
• Strong ability to design experiments and implement algorithmic improvements based on the latest research.
• Track record of working with complex data pipelines and large-scale machine learning systems.
• Must be based in Brazil to align with national health plan and local office availability.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph-based models and related technologies.
• Active involvement in applied AI research, including publications or community contributions.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for model deployment and production integration.
• Prior experience with distributed systems and processing large volumes of data.
