Location: Remote-flexible, with offices in Toronto, New York, San Francisco, London, and Paris.

What you will do

• Build experiments, debug models, and scale training pipelines.
• Turn research ideas into working AI systems.
• Work closely with scientists and other engineers to implement new methods.
• Run large-scale experiments.
• Help shape the infrastructure supporting research programs.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in machine learning, NLP, or related areas (Master’s degree, industry experience, or equivalent hands-on work).
• Enjoy writing clean, reliable code and building extendable systems.
• Comfortable experimenting, running ablations, analyzing results, and iterating quickly.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and model optimization techniques (PyTorch, distributed training, RLHF, finetuning, evaluation frameworks).
• Ability to collaborate closely with researchers and translate ideas into practical implementations.
• Curiosity, strong fundamentals, and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-moving research environment.
