Mechanical Engineer

TL;DR

Mechanical Engineer (Ice Cream Machinery): Execute engineering tasks for customized mechanical solutions in ice cream production equipment with an accent on structural systems, component design, and manufacturing optimization. Focus on 3D modeling in Creo, system verification, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating on global customer projects.

Location: Based in Fritzlar, Germany, with travel activity of 60-90 days per annum mainly to Aarhus, Denmark. Currently eligible to work in Germany (main) as well as Denmark.

What you will do

• Develop, design, and review mechanical solutions for ice cream machinery, including structural systems, in collaboration with teams in Germany and Denmark.
• Calculate, specify, and create 3D designs, assemblies, and drawings in Creo/Windchill, evaluating for safety, functionality, cost, DFM, and DFS.
• Manage customer projects globally, provide support including on-site visits, and assist sales with customized solutions and cost calculations.
• Deliver innovative ideas, troubleshoot problems, and solve tasks analytically.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering with experience in mechanical systems, or Mechanical Engineer degree with comprehensive design experience.
• Competences in calculating and 3D designing mechanical systems/components; extensive material and manufacturing knowledge.
• Familiar with Creo/Windchill; ERP systems (SAP) advantageous.
• Good German and English skills, both oral and written.
• Eligible to work in Germany and Denmark.
• Team player, flexible, analytical, with high professional standards.
