Location: Hybrid in Auckland, NZ (3 days work from home per week)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 a year

What you will do

• Translate customer and partner requirements into detailed technical specifications for integrations and public APIs.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments for changes introduced by 3rd party strategic and platform partners.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, creating and prioritizing user stories, epics, and tasks based on business value.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to elicit and define business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze AI-generated insights to guide the direction of enhancements for integrations and APIs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team during sprints, ensuring efficient execution and quality assurance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably focused on SaaS platforms, APIs, or system integrations.
• Strong technical knowledge of APIs (REST/GQL), web services, data structures, and the SDLC.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to develop flow diagrams, process maps, and data models.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work in Auckland, NZ.
