What you will do

• Analyze system and software requirements to develop comprehensive verification strategies and test plans.
• Design and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) levels.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure reliable regression testing and release readiness.
• Develop custom HIL setups, device simulators, and test harnesses for embedded software.
• Create internal workflow automations and developer tools using n8n and scripting.
• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, specifically within embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash for test development and automation.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and integration.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and custom test rigs for embedded devices.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development velocity.
• Knowledge of C or C++ in addition to Python.
• Familiarity with containerized test environments and n8n automation.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical industries.
