What you will do

• Build and maintain fault-tolerant GraphQL runtime infrastructure using idiomatic Rust.
• Triage and resolve high-scale technical escalations for enterprise customers processing trillions of requests.
• Design and operate stable, observable public APIs and scalable systems.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor engineers in writing high-performance Rust code.
• Lead architectural discussions and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure mission-critical system reliability.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Rust and a passion for writing performant code.
• Expertise in systems engineering, including stateless/fault-tolerant and distributed paradigms.
• Strong debugging instincts and a desire for hands-on operational work.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience with GraphQL or large-scale runtime systems.
