What you will do

• Design and implement scalable event-driven architectures for live-streaming data, interactive experiences, and real-time notifications.
• Develop robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript for performance and maintainability.
• Manage millions of persistent connections with Socket.IO for seamless server-client data flow.
• Implement Redis Pub/Sub for state synchronization across distributed instances and high-velocity messaging.
• Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure resilience and horizontal scaling for traffic spikes.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript including ES6+, async programming, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with Socket.IO or similar WebSocket frameworks in production.
• Hands-on with Redis Pub/Sub for event-driven messaging beyond caching.
• Strong knowledge of real-time data architecture, race conditions, state sync, and distributed failures.
• Comfort with SQL and NoSQL databases for high-frequency writes.
• Experience in Media/OTT/Streaming industry.
