What you will do
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to ship physics models to customers for maximum value.
- Design and build E2E applications, moving from low-lift prototypes to production-ready tools based on constant user feedback.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI to serve Large Physics Models.
- Deploy applications to the cloud using a stack including Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
- Work directly with customers to identify core problems and build impactful tools that change how engineering is performed.
- Distill use-case solutions into fundamental components to drive the development of the core platform features.
Requirements
- Track record of solving high-complexity technical problems.
- Solid foundation in software engineering, API design, and deploying applications to production.
- Must be based in New York for a hybrid work model.
- Ability to travel internationally for an average of 3-4 weeks per quarter.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.
