What you will do

• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to ship physics models to customers for maximum value.
• Design and build E2E applications, moving from low-lift prototypes to production-ready tools based on constant user feedback.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI to serve Large Physics Models.
• Deploy applications to the cloud using a stack including Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
• Work directly with customers to identify core problems and build impactful tools that change how engineering is performed.
• Distill use-case solutions into fundamental components to drive the development of the core platform features.

Requirements

• Track record of solving high-complexity technical problems.
• Solid foundation in software engineering, API design, and deploying applications to production.
• Must be based in New York for a hybrid work model.
• Ability to travel internationally for an average of 3-4 weeks per quarter.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.
