What you will do

• Scale electromagnetic training data generation by building infrastructure for synthetic and physically grounded datasets.
• Design dataset APIs, schemas, and quality gates for simulations, measurements, and expert annotations.
• Develop high-throughput training pipelines including distributed data loading, sharding, and caching.
• Partner with applied researchers to translate model needs into scalable platform primitives.
• Build tooling for experiment traceability, regression detection, and dataset versioning.
• Operationalize physics-grounded intelligence by connecting solvers and lab measurements into production pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or ML infrastructure experience in high-performing research or tech environments.
• Strong proficiency with Python and modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
• Deep experience with distributed systems, data platforms, and large-scale ML workloads.
• Ability to work in person at the NYC headquarters.
• Comfort with ambiguous research requirements and translating them into scalable platform solutions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with researchers and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific ML, neural operators, or physics simulation.
• Familiarity with EDA tooling, EM solvers, or hardware design workflows.
• Experience with Slurm, Ray, Kubernetes, AWS Batch, or distributed filesystems.
• Interest in RF, signal integrity, or power integrity.
