Senior Platform Engineer (Oracle/Linux): Designing and implementing robust infrastructure components for a leading Nordic financial group with an accent on automation and fault tolerance. Location: Elastic hybrid, must be based in Poland (Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa) and work from the office at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Design and build fault-tolerant, highly scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Drive environment management activities toward 100% automation.
• Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration and performance enhancement.
• Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for solution operations.

Requirements

• Solid experience with the Oracle stack, including Database, Weblogic, and Oracle Service Bus.
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration and multi-server farms management.
• Experience in network topology design, security, and fault-tolerant architecture.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying Java applications.
• Experience implementing monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Red Hat, Windows, or J2EE operations.
• Knowledge of Big Data infrastructure, such as Hadoop and Kafka.
• Proficiency in scripting using Shell, Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Background as a network engineer or knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
