Location: Hybrid (office based two days per week in Manchester, UK)

Salary: £51,000 - £58,200

What you will do

• Deliver end-to-end internal audits, including planning, fieldwork, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
• Draft and finalise clear, proportionate, and insightful audit reports to support senior management and the Board.
• Engage directly with stakeholders to drive constructive conversations about risk and control.
• Collaborate with external audit partners and participate in ISO audits.
• Support the development of a risk-based annual Compliance Audit Plan.
• Conduct specific investigations or consultative work as requested by the Head of Regulation.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering end-to-end internal audits independently.
• Proven ability to write high-quality audit reports and articulate risk and impact clearly.
• CIA / IIA qualification (part- or fully-qualified) OR ACA / ACCA with clear internal audit experience.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester for hybrid work (2 days per week in office).
• Ability to identify root causes and propose recommendations aligned with business risk appetite.
