TL;DR

Scrum Master / Agile Coach (Kanban): Coach and support development teams in adopting Kanban practices including visualisation of work, WIP limits, flow metrics, and continuous improvement with an accent on pragmatic agile methods. Focus on facilitating ceremonies, tracking flow metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and mentoring on agile principles to enhance delivery speed and team autonomy.

Location: Sant Joan Despí. Hybrid with 3 days remote per week (Mon–Thu 8:30–17:30, Fri 8:30–15:30); easily accessible by public transport.

What you will do

  • Coach development teams on Kanban adoption: visualisation, WIP limits, flow metrics, policies, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies like stand-ups, replenishment, reviews, and retrospectives adapted to Kanban.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leads to design workflows, classes of service, and policies.
  • Track and use flow metrics (cycle time, lead time, throughput, WIP) for data-driven decisions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and lead experiments to improve flow and predictability.
  • Mentor on agile principles, self-organisation, and connecting work to business goals.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar with software teams.
  • Proven Kanban adoption in at least one team (boards, WIP limits, metrics, policies).
  • Strong knowledge of agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrum, XP).
  • Hands-on facilitation of workshops, retrospectives, and team sessions.
  • Strong communication skills for engineers, product, and leadership.
  • Experience with agile tools like Jira, Azure Boards, Trello, Linear.

Nice to have

  • Coaching multiple teams or tribe-level.
  • Background in software dev, QA, or product management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD, trunk-based dev, feature flags).
  • Metrics dashboards and change management experience.
  • Scrumban, distributed teams, security environments, certifications (KMP, PSM, etc.).
