Senior Fullstack Engineer (Flutter/Node.js) - Mobile Experience

hirify.global's Engineering Application Platform department develops the MarineTraffic and hirify.global mobile applications and their supporting backend services.

What you will do

• Develop complex, production-ready features for the MarineTraffic and hirify.global mobile apps while maintaining Clean Architecture standards.
• Design and evolve the mobile Backend-for-Frontend using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Participate in code reviews and improve CI/CD, GitOps, linting, Sonar, and peer-review workflows.
• Maintain and improve unit, integration, and contract test suites.
• Mentor squad members and contribute to harmonising practices across web and mobile engineering.
• Maintain and optimise the LLM and AI integration stack used for autonomous code generation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping complex Flutter and Dart applications in production.
• Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL API design.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, Clean Code, and well-tested maintainable software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; demonstrable expertise is prioritised.
• Professional-level English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in platform engineering or an inner-source context.
• Experience with GraphQL federation.
