Location: Hybrid in Belgrade, Serbia (Remote and hybrid options available)

What you will do

• Drive the technical design and delivery of Vantage platform capabilities, from architecture and API contracts to deployment.
• Define and uphold engineering standards for code quality, service reliability, performance, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product management, ML engineering, and cloud architecture to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps.
• Lead platform-scale initiatives including service decomposition, observability, and CI/CD maturity.
• Own high-severity incident response for cloud services and drive systemic reliability improvements.
• Mentor Senior and Principal Engineers to build a culture of technical rigor and shared ownership.

Requirements

• 10–13 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in C# .NET and C++, with a willingness to work in both languages.
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Strong command of microservices architecture and distributed system design at enterprise scale.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical design reviews and influence architectural decisions.
• Location: Must be based in Belgrade, Serbia for hybrid setup or eligible for remote options.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, Storage, Key Vaults, Azure SQL).
• Track record of delivering production-grade systems meeting enterprise compliance and security standards.
• Hands-on experience with workflow-driven systems (orchestration, state management).
• Experience integrating Machine Learning, Neural Networks, or LLMs into enterprise workflows.
