Role: Senior Technology Engineer (DevOps PAAS) 
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates 
Engagement: Contractual 
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable, Long-term with Marc Ellis)
 
We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who enjoys building modern platforms, automating everything possible, and helping teams deliver faster and more reliably.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Agile squads to design and run CI/CD pipelines, enable self-service onboarding, and support a growing PaaS environment. If you’re passionate about Kubernetes, GitOps, and improving developer experience—this is a great fit.
 
What we are looking for:
- 8 years of experience in engineering, with at least 6 years in DevOps 
- CI/CD (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / ArgoCD): Designed and maintained automated CI/CD pipelines
- Pipeline Scripting: Hands-on experience writing and maintaining pipelines using Groovy
- Containerization: Built and managed Docker container deployments
- Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift environments
- Helm: Implemented and maintained Helm-based deployment pipelines
- IaaS Exposure: Managed and supported VM-based infrastructure including OS-level configuration and patching
- Linux: Strong experience with Linux environments and shell scripting
- Security Automation: Integrated security or compliance validation checks within CI/CD pipelines
- Production Support: Experience supporting production systems on rotation and handling incident resolution
- Source Control: Experience working with Git-based workflows
- Cloud Exposure: Worked with AWS, Azure, or OCI – Nice to have
