What you will do

• Produce clear, well-structured, and fully tested C++ and Python code.
• Develop high-throughput software to handle complex financial data.
• Collaborate via pair programming to spread knowledge and prevent siloing.
• Design and implement new features to improve software safety, performance, and usability.
• Write interface code bridging C++ and Python using pybind.

Requirements

• Proficiency in modern C++ development within a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Strong Python development skills, specifically with Numpy, Pandas, and SQL.
• Experience with automated C++ and Python testing.
• Ability to translate business requirements into simple, elegant, and maintainable systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD using Catch2 (C++) and pytest (Python).
• Knowledge of pybind or nanobind.
• Experience with Airflow DAGs or similar workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency with Polars for high-performance data processing.
• Experience with Jenkins CI.
• Knowledge of Websocket and TCP/IP networking.
• Degree in Science or Mathematics.
