What you will do

• Execute highly technical electrical builds, including constructing wire harnesses and performing PCBA rework.
• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing tooling and test infrastructure.
• Create and document detailed work instructions to ensure repeatable, high-quality builds.
• Collaborate with avionics engineering to iterate on electronic components and cables.
• Verify flight hardware and document results to support the transition to initial production.
• Interpret complex cable harnesses, wiring diagrams, and GD&T documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of avionics technician or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PCBA schematics and rework of 0201 SMD and BGA components.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of industry standards IPC-610 and IPC-620.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements).
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in an R&D or high-speed production environment handling flight hardware.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as SVN, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Basic comprehension of electronic principles and theory.
• Skills in project management.
