#Middle System/Business Analyst

About the role:
We are looking for a System Analyst/Business Analyst with a strong focus on e-commerce architecture and product data flows. You will work on designing catalog structures, defining platform logic, and supporting integrations between PIM, ERP, and storefront systems to ensure seamless user and business experiences.
Your future responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements for product catalog structures, attributes, categories, variations, SKUs, and localizations.
• Build end-to-end product data flows.
• Collaborate with e-commerce platform developers.
• Define UI/UX logic requirements (filters, sorting, variation display, product availability).
• Support product pages, category pages, recommended products, and search functionality.
• Validate business logic in the storefront (e.g., pricing, availability, multi-price support, etc.).
• Describe the logic of platform features – wishlist, cart, checkout, stock, multi-currency, and taxes.
• Support integrations.
• Maintain technical and business documentation (SRS, API contracts, configuration tables, user flows).
• Communicate with UX/UI teams, product managers, QA engineers, and developers.
• Participate in release testing: smoke, acceptance, and regression testing for critical e-commerce scenarios.
• Develop and maintain the backlog: write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and clarify tasks.
• Monitor the product lifecycle in the system (from upload to sale): track bugs, edge cases, and handle incidents.
Your professional qualities:
• 3+ years of experience working on e-commerce projects (online stores, marketplaces, B2C/B2B).
• Hands-on experience with PIM/PCM systems (Akeneo, Pimcore, inRiver, Salsify, etc.).
• Configuring attributes, categories, and mappings.
• Handling product variations (SKUs, packaging, channel-specific rules).
• Solid understanding of product catalog structures: relationships, attribute models, localization, pricing.
• Participation in projects involving integrations with ERP, CMS, OMS, and marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Rozetka, etc.).
• Experience in writing technical documentation: SRS, API contracts, and product data processing flows.
Nice to have:
• Experience working with PIM systems at a structural design level (attribute sets, rules, locales).
• Skills in SQL, XML/JSON transformations, and middleware logic.
• Experience with product feeds, Google Shopping, Facebook Catalog, and price aggregators.
• Familiarity with omnichannel architectures: web, mobile applications, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Understanding of front-end processes: SEO-friendly URLs, filtering, sorting, and catalog caching.
• Knowledge of pricing rules, multi-currency, taxes, and stock availability.
