Business Analyst

Ukrainian hybrid IT company and subsidiary of Kyivstar telecom operator, building mobile/web solutions and high-performance systems.

What you will do

• Work in cross-functional teams with analysts, developers, and designers to deliver product features.
• Identify and assess potential solutions for technical and business suitability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, development teams, IT, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Analyze requirements, define use cases, and create functional/technical descriptions of business processes.
• Manage requirements prioritization, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Handle backlog management, facilitate as needed, oversee testing, gather feedback, and propose improvements.
• Select and implement tools, technologies, and techniques.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant working experience.
• Experience producing solution artifacts like UML, Use Cases, Business Rules, Functional & Non-Functional Specifications.
• Good knowledge of Scrum methodology and BA role in Scrum.
• Good understanding of web standards, protocols, and data formats (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP, FTP, TCP).
• Strong understanding of SDLC principles and CI/CD.
• Good communication, facilitation, analytical, and system thinking skills.
• Team player able to work cross-functionally and deal with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with data sources like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MS SQL.
• Understanding of SOA, DDD, monolith, design patterns.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Basic mobile development technologies knowledge.
• Integration projects experience.
• Excellent Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) knowledge.
