Location: On-site in Boston, Los Angeles, NYC, or San Francisco. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $230,000 – $330,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end application security, including threat-modeling features and driving risk remediation.
• Secure the application layer against injection, broken authentication/authorization, and insecure APIs.
• Build and manage a secure SDLC with SAST/DAST, supply-chain security, and secrets management.
• Harden identity handling, authentication, and authorization across the product.
• Secure AI-specific surfaces, including model endpoints, prompt handling, and generative AI vulnerabilities.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security early in the design phase.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security engineering with deep AppSec expertise.
• Proven track record of building AppSec practices and secure-SDLC tooling.
• Proficiency in modern application stacks and AWS.
• Ability to write and ship production-quality code.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Must work onsite at one of the provided office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer products at scale.
• Secure-by-design work on generative AI or ML surfaces.
• Experience as an early security hire.
