What you will do

• Own and drive the evolution of observability pipelines and automated telemetry workflows.
• Design end-to-end software solutions for bidirectional data flow into Datadog and the hirify.global platform.
• Develop data hooks for SaaS services to collect logs and metrics for long-term analysis.
• Implement "observable by default" frameworks to ensure new internal applications are secure and monitored.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Support teams to deliver impactful business outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and create failure triage playbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production-level experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform or Pulumi.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Advanced knowledge of GitHub Actions and GitHub Runners.
• Experience with observability pillars and tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco or Mountain View, CA.
