What you will do

• Build and maintain both web and mobile versions of the company platform.
• Design and implement backend architecture, APIs, and databases for high performance and scale.
• Translate UI designs into responsive, high-quality frontend builds.
• Integrate third-party tools and develop robust pipelines from diverse external data sources.
• Handle deployment, testing, and comprehensive performance optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production systems using Python.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and data pipeline development.
• Web scraping expertise, including browser automation, API reverse-engineering, and anti-bot handling.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment with fewer than 20 people.
• Ability to work according to Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours (9am - 5pm).

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce or marketplace data (e.g., Amazon, Keepa, SP-API).
• Ability to build internal tools, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience with caching strategies, incremental data updates, and API token budgeting.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment on AWS or GCP.
