Contract Physician – Multi-State Licensure & Medicaid/Medicare Enrolled

TL;DR

Contract Physician (Telehealth): Deliver synchronous telehealth visits and asynchronous medical necessity reviews for genetic testing services with an accent on compliance with federal payers, state regulations, and documentation standards. Focus on interpreting diagnostic results, developing evidence-based care plans, and providing patient education and counseling.

Location: 100% Remote (US); active unrestricted medical licenses in 10+ states highly preferred (priority: AR, GA, MS, TX, WI, LA, AL); Must be enrolled in and in good standing with Medicare and Medicaid in multiple states.

What you will do

• Deliver synchronous telehealth visits (video/phone) as part of health plan care programs.
• Conduct focused clinical assessments for treatment, condition-specific, and preventive visits.
• Interpret diagnostic results (including at-home labs) and provide actionable recommendations, treatment, follow-up, and referrals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans per protocols and payer requirements.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatments, preventive care, and next steps.
• Ensure compliance with telemedicine regulations, payer guidelines, and document interactions accurately.

Requirements

• MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required).
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in good standing; 10+ states highly preferred (priority: AR, GA, MS, TX, WI, LA, AL).
• Medicaid enrollment in multiple states highly preferred; must be in good standing where enrolled.
• Enrolled in and in good standing with Medicare.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality virtual care, diagnostic interpretation, and care planning.
• Strong communication skills for telehealth; comfortable with digital health tools and HIPAA compliance.

Nice to have

• 1+ year telehealth experience.
• Prior experience with genetic testing and payer medical necessity criteria.
• Experience working with Medicaid populations.
