What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala and Java/Spring Boot
• Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of production services with efficient data management
• Drive innovation in semantic layers, query optimizations, and analytics capabilities
• Collaborate across product, UX, and frontend teams to deliver high-scale features from inception to production
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate team technical capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience building robust solutions
• Experience designing microservices with AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, SQS, Tilt
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong communication skills for solving complex problems in dynamic environments
• Self-driven exploration of new technologies

Nice to have

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
• Experience leading teams, squads, or cross-team efforts
• Expertise in query optimization, data analytics, semantic layers
