TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation for a private markets fund administration platform with an accent on scalability, reliability, and security. Focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, managing container orchestration, and implementing observability tools.
Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany) - requires office attendance 3 times per week

What you will do
- Design and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
- Manage container orchestration via Kubernetes and optimize Docker usage.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid and reliable deployment.
- Implement logging, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Ensure high availability and robust disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with software engineers to align development with operational best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Senior Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Solid grasp of networking, system administration, and cloud security practices.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Berlin.
Nice to have
- Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
- Programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Go.
