Senior DevOps Engineer (Digital Manufacturing)

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure): Supporting and advancing internal and external business applications with an accent on reliable provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of DevOps platforms. Focus on increasing deployment stability, designing high-availability solutions, and automating manual processes.

Location: Hybrid (Maple Plain, MN). Must be based in the US. Due to ITAR regulations, role is open only to US Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

Salary: $107,400 - $161,000 a year

What you will do

• Provision, install, configure, and maintain version control systems, build pipelines, and continuous integration tooling.
• Partner with development teams to enhance application reliability and promote site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase deployment stability while reducing manual intervention.
• Design and maintain high-availability solutions, including load balancer configuration and optimization.
• Participate in 24/7 operational coverage, including periodic after-hours work and on-call responsibilities.
• Mentor and train colleagues to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card), or granted refugee/asylee status (ITAR compliance).
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing servers in an enterprise environment and supporting code releases into highly available applications.
• 2+ years of experience supporting server configuration management tooling and high-availability applications.
• Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and HAProxy.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Service Discovery, and Linux OS hardening and security.
• Experience with JSON/REST and Git.
