What you will do
- Develop and execute institutional engagement strategies for public access, subsidies, and procurement
- Represent the company before government authorities and public institutions
- Foster partnerships with municipalities, ministries, and cultural entities
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders
- Build institutional networks and support leadership in stakeholder meetings
- Identify public-private collaboration opportunities and create policy briefings
Requirements
- 5+ years in public affairs, institutional relations, government relations, or business development
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with public sector stakeholders
- Deep knowledge of institutional and regulatory environments
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset connecting institutional influence to business opportunities
- High autonomy, diplomatic skills, and comfort with ambiguity
- Fluency in German and English
Nice to have
- Experience in culture, tourism, events, tech, or innovation sectors
- Work with public grants, cultural funding, or EU institutions
- Background in legal, political science, public policy, or international relations
- Familiarity with public procurement or licensing
