What you will do

• Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and QA to build and deploy features and products.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Uphold and refine code standards for quality, design, performance, and security.
• Write efficient, production-ready code and participate in solution design, hiring interviews, and code reviews.
• Propose new approaches to scale infrastructure globally.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in professional development, documentation, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
• Mastery in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases, efficient data design, ORM, DAO, and SQL.
• Experience with Git.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional communication.
• Ability to mentor team members and learn new programming languages quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, or React.
• Building software for regulated environments.
• Modern distributed microservices on AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Disaster recovery in AWS/databases, UNIX systems.
• Startup experience, remote teams, legal services industry.
