What you will do

• Design, develop, and address scalability challenges in data pipelines and identity graphs for high-throughput systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership: design, build, ship, measure, and maintain frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate with top software engineers on innovative projects serving billions of users.
• Develop at unimaginable scale, handling thousands of requests per second.
• Influence content discovery for billions of people worldwide.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Java, infrastructure development, and production-grade systems with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong big data expertise with hands-on work on diverse databases and scaling challenges.
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and cross-team collaboration.
• Product- and business-driven mindset with high self-learning and adaptability in complex environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling large-scale distributed systems with Web/JavaScript, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong background in big data platforms, NoSQL/distributed databases (Vertica, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, BigQuery), Spark, HDFS.
