What you will do

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across R&D by sharing knowledge and leading by example.
• Own and evolve core backend services in a large-scale SaaS platform powering global enterprise operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services handling millions of real-time transactions daily.
• Build and enhance algorithm-based (AI and others) components for intelligent decision-making and real-time optimization.
• Use AI tools as first-class part of daily workflow for design, coding, refactoring, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in architectural discussions, influence system design, and lead robust testing strategies in distributed environment.

Requirements

• Hybrid work from Tel Aviv offices - must be able to attend office regularly.
• 4+ years of backend/server-side development experience in a modern programming language.
• Extensive real-world experience using AI development tools as part of day-to-day engineering work.
• Hands-on experience with databases and data stores such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous and event-driven execution models.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architectures and event-driven/event sourcing systems.
• Experience with advanced monitoring, observability, and alerting practices.
• Experience with indexing and retrieval from vector databases.
• Experience with Geographical Information Systems.
• Experience with routing and navigation algorithms.
