What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
• Own the data science strategy and identify opportunities for applying machine learning and generative AI.
• Design, prototype, and implement ML models, including LLM-powered copilots and fraud detection pipelines.
• Guide the deployment of scalable and reliable ML models into production environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to integrate ML components into production systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role leading backend or ML-platform engineering teams.
• Excellent coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production systems that integrate ML components (APIs, MLOps, CI/CD).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, performance optimization, and observability.
• Must be based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or identity management.
