What you will do

• Prepare and maintain high-quality medical datasets for machine learning purposes.
• Perform audio transcriptions and align audio with text in Italian.
• Implement text patterns to extract named entities like medical terms, addresses, and IDs in Portuguese.
• Develop and contribute to Portuguese dictionaries and taxonomies for NLP systems.
• Evaluate linguistic quality and consistency of words and text structures.

Requirements

• Native Portuguese speaker.
• Full Professional Level of English (C1).
• Degree or strong background in linguistics or computational linguistics.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or prior experience in the healthcare domain.
• Hands-on experience with data annotation, transcription, and labeling tools.
• Must be able to invoice in EUR.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in AI, machine learning, or data preparation projects.
• Knowledge of multiple languages or dialects.
• Exposure to medical coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT) or electronic health records (EHR).
