TL;DR

Infrastructure Application & Automation Software Engineer (Python/Ansible/Terraform): Building and owning production-grade automation frameworks for deployment and monitoring with an accent on infrastructure as code and Linux systems administration. Focus on designing reproducible environments, managing distributed systems, and automating across Debian and RHEL fleets.

Location: Hybrid: ~3 days/week in Riverton office and occasional visits to Bluffdale data-center (Utah, USA).

Salary: $150,000–$175,000

What you will do

• Build and own production-grade Python and shell automation frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and self-healing.
• Design, deploy, and version-control infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform across Debian and RHEL fleets.
• Act as the primary Linux administrator for networking, storage, virtualization, and distributed systems.
• Implement configuration management, observability, and orchestration to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, NetEng, and application teams to deliver reproducible, auditable environments.
• Perform physical data center tasks including racking servers, cabling, and hardware maintenance.

Requirements

• Expertise in Ansible and Terraform, including the development of playbooks and modules.
• Production-level experience with Debian and Red Hat Linux.
• Ability to write scalable Python code with clean APIs and thorough testing.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals: Bonding/VLANs, IP tables, RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, and KVM/Docker.
• Experience with Git-flow and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in the Salt Lake Valley (Riverton/Bluffdale), UT.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware vSphere or Kubernetes cluster management.
• AWS, GCP, or Azure cost-optimization experience.
