Project Engineer (Engineering)

TL;DR

Project Engineer (Engineering): Designing, developing, and implementing new components and technologies for heavy machinery with an accent on prototype testing and functional requirements. Focus on executing the building and analysis of prototypes, translating requirements into detailed design documents, and conducting buy-build analyses.

Location: Onsite in Shanghai, China (5 days a week). Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Research new materials and competitive products to inform design decisions.
• Organize and execute the building, testing, and analysis of product prototypes.
• Develop functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documentation.
• Participate in buy-build analysis for various product components.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, and project proposals.
• Collaborate with supply specialists and buyers on supplier development and performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• Extensive experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Engineering.
• Proven expertise in product design for manufacturing (MFG).
• Strong analytical thinking skills for root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Must be able to work onsite in Shanghai 5 days a week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
