What you will do

• Build and maintain integration connectors between the hirify.global platform and customer systems.
• Take ownership and evolve the Matecat Filters product, managing content extraction for diverse filetypes.
• Participate in architectural decision-making processes and maintain high code quality through reviews.
• Develop comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 17+) and Backend TypeScript/JavaScript on Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with XML parsing and manipulation (DOM, SAX, StAX).
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and version control with Git/GitHub.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Experience with the Koa web framework and MySQL 8.
• Application of Test Driven Development (TDD) in Java and JS/TS.
• Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS) and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and Unix system administration.
• Background in the translation and localization domain.
