What you will do

• Design and develop real-time systems for tracking data, analytics, and officiating technologies.
• Implement end-to-end features from on-premise hardware configuration to real-time customer delivery.
• Drive architectural decisions to improve scalability and operational efficiency for global leagues.
• Maintain the foundational GeniusIQ platform to support internal engineering teams.
• Develop testing and release strategies for distributed systems, including model inference and data pipelines.
• Build human-in-the-loop workflows to validate and enhance system outputs.

Requirements

• Experience operating distributed systems and designing APIs.
• Ability to build real-time, interactive web frontends.
• Proficiency in managing relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Los Angeles, California.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Rust, Elixir, TypeScript, Go, C++, or Python.
• Experience with React, Three.js, HTML5 Video, or Canvas.
• Knowledge of AWS, Temporal.io, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Pulsar, RabbitMQ, or WebAssembly.
• Familiarity with systems running inference with Computer Vision or AI/ML models.
